Interesting Concert

Reminding me that the 2000s are really in the books, comes this interesting concert in Walker, MN. Appearing at The Northern Lights Casino is Aaron Lewis and Scott Stapp, each performing solo and acousticly. Hmm...Aaron Lewis is the lead singer of the Nu-Metal band Staind, and Scott Stapp is the lead singer of Creed, a band that used to be on top of the fucking world. Dam these boys are not in their hay days anymore, lets take a peak at each's US record sales over the years.

Well maybe it wasn't fair to compare Staind's numbers with Creed's, but you see my point they're both not selling albums like they used to. So should someone go to this show, considering each is without their collective band mates? Well, Northern Lights Casino seems to think so offering both performances for about $50 (billed as two concerts for one ticket; Scott at 4 and Aaron at 8). Both can really sing, so if you don't mind hearing their back catalogues sung acoustically you should have a good time. Let's have a sample shall we, here is Lewis's new single "Country Boy'".

Hmmm...that was a decent song, pretty personal. Can't see it really becoming to big of a hit though. No main though while watching that video though, holy shit George Jones and Charlie Daniels look old. Dam you father time.
And here is the lead single off Scott's 2005 solo album.

Song is fucking epic and kicks ass.
