With The Beatles: Review
Looking over the track listing for Beatle album #2, I don't recognize a single song. The album cover is also a bit jarring, looks like British propaganda if you ask me. Ah well, here goes......

Finishing What Hank Started
Bob Dylan, Jack White, Lucinda Williams, Alan Jackson and a number of other artist have banned together in a new compilation, out October 4, to finish lost songs of Country Music Icon, Hank Williams. Ideas and lyrics were taken from Hank's resurrected notebooks, and finished by the artist on the complication. The record is named The Lost Notebooks of Hank Williams and the track listing is as follows:

The Journey
I've decided to undertake a musical journey for the remainder of the year. Making a list of 25 bands, one by one I'm going to listen to the artist's entire discography, listening to each album at least three times, and writing a small review of each album. By the end I will hopefully have conquered some of the best artist and albums to date. Here's the list.

Transformers 3: Plot Makes No Sense
Alright movies fans, I'm gonna be completely honest with you. Transformers 3 was better than Transformers 2, but still fucking sucked. Why did it suck you ask, well, because it's a Transformers movie directed by Michael Bay, duh. We're not going to comment on that here, instead we're going to focus on the horribly stupid, makes no fucking sense plot. None of the previous Transformer movies had particularly inspiring or compelling plots, but god-dammit at least they weren't completely baffling and retarded and fucking contradicted the other movies. Here are five reasons why the plot of Transformers 3 is dumb.

Great New Music
Proably the most beautiful song I've heard in 2011 so far. It just captures you, I found myself singing along on my first listen.
TV On The Radio can do no wrong. They're funky, soulful, chaotic, and powerful on every release. Following two masterpieces, Return to Cookie Mountain and Dear Science, Nine Types of Light will undoubtedly be amazing.
Jack White + Danger Mouse = Ahhhhh Yeahhh That Shit is Awesome.

5 Reasons Sucker Punch Sucked
I was recently sucker punched when I paid $8 to see a piece of shit movie called Sucker Punch and sadly realized I was never going to see that money again. Fuck I should have bought the new Strokes album instead. At least the theater I saw it in served beer so the entire experience wasn't horrible. Here are the 5 reasons this film sucked:

Johnny Flynn & The Sussex Wit coming to America. Fuck Ya!!!!
I absolutely love Johnny Flynn's 2010 album Been Listening. It is simply modern folk done to perfection with amazing vocals, lyrics, and band accompaniment. I found myself singing along to his album on the first listen, joining in on grand choruses their second to third run through. I've been told that his first album, 2008's A Larum, is even better, and I will certainly have it before going to see Johnny in May. Yep, Flynn and the boys are invading America for a month long tour, and I will with 100% certainty be at the Minneapolis date. Hope to see some of you music lovers there.
