Billboard Blitz!

Did T.I beat Susan Boyle for #1?

Nope
Only three new releases made it into the Top 20 this week, and two of them were able to fight they're way into a very competitive Christmas season the Top 10. A quick glance at this week's Top 10 chart and you might mistake it for last week; many of the top performers were able to sustain their spot and shake off building competition. Where did T.I. and Daft Punk's new releases land, well let's blitz!!

20. Jason Aldean My Kinda Party

19. Charlie Wilson Just Charlie

18. Katy Perry Teenage Dream

17. Mariah Carey Merry Christmas II You

16. The Black Eyed Peas The Begining

15. Kid Rock Born Free

14. Kanye West My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

13. Rascal Flatts Nothing Like This

12. Justin Bieber My Worlds Acoustic

11. Andrea Bocelli My Christmas

10. Daft Punk Tron: Legacy
The electric French duo's highest debut ever, lending their famous beats to operate as the backbone of Disney's Tron: Legacy.

Dam, I wish these guys make a soundtrack for my life.

9. Rihanna Loud
Week 4 on the charts, this stylish female refuses to fall out of the Top 10 climbing up. Since we've heard both singles from Rihanna let's take a look at another debut. A band I nearly forgot about, rock band Hinder debuts at #34.

Holy shit I'm shocked that song didn't suck ass. Apparently Hinder can still write pretty decent modern rockers. Who knew?

8. Glee The Music Season 2
There is just no stopping this Glee machine with two albums still in the Top 10. Should we listen to the teens butcher another hit or explore the Billboard 200? Sadly your vote doesnt' count, critic darling Duffy is back with her new album Endlessly. Despite her last album going Platinum, here she debuts at a lowly #72.

My opinion of this song is meaningless, because my ears fucking hate her high pitched chipmunk voice. Well, well, well you fucking suck. You are guilty.

7. Josh Groban Illuminations
Week 4 for Josh and he's hanging in there strong. I'm thinking this album is going to be a big seller, Josh's worst selling album, 2006's Awake, still managed to sell 2 million copies in just the US, and his last album, 2007's holiday Noel, sold 5 million.

Live or on record, this man sings powerful and passionate songs.

6. Nicki Minaj Pink Friday
While her Thanksgiving sales partner Kanye West plummets further down the Top 20, new lady on the block Nicki Minaj is rising in her third week.

Ya Nigga check out how this shit sucks; really sucks. Meaningless rhymes saying "hey I'm cool, I'm in the club, and fuck you haters." Smart to pre-emptive call out all the haters you know will come after you for this horrible piece of crap you call a song.

5. Jackie Evancho O Holy Night
Aww, the Billboard's little singing angel is having a very good Christmas season. Let's hear her beautiful voice tackle another classic.

Still can't believe she's only 10, simply amazing.

4. T.I. No Mercy
TI is out of jail and back in the record stores with his 7th studio album. He's hoping his time away in jail won't affect his selling power, his previous disc, 2008's Paper Trail went Double Platinum. He was gunning for #1, but some powerful ladies have denied him that right ending his streak (last three albums all debuted at #1).

Nice a jail bird and a woman beater are singing "Get Back Up". Dumb ass song, half saying he's sorry half criticizing his 'haters'. They hate you for a reason T.I., you too Chris Brown. $5 says T.I. will get in trouble with the law again.

3. Glee The Christmas Album
Glee Glee Glee, on TV, in the charts, dam it's everywhere man. So let's ignore it and look at #30 on the Billboard 200. It's the soundtrack for A Charlie Brown Christmas by the Vince Guaraldi Trio. This album was originally released in 1965, but packs so much holiday wonder it reclimbs the charts each year for Christmas. Very good Christmas Jazz to be found here.

2. Taylor Swift Speak Now
Week 7 for Taylor, Country's favorite girl is selling albums like it's going out of style.

Note: Boys be nice to Taylor, otherwise she'll write a song about you. Just ask John Mayer, that Jonas Brother, and the shirtless dude from Twilight.

1. Susan Boyle The Gift
After destroying Kanye West last week, Susan remains perched at #1 taking on all competitors, though none have the power to steal the gold away from her.

An old Christmas classic done right by the weathered angel.

What ever happened to........last week's Top Ten?

10. Rihana Loud 9

9. Josh Groban Illuminations 7

8. Nicki Minaj Pink Friday 6

7. Kanye West My Dark Twisted Fantasy 14

6. Black Eyed Peas The Beginning 16

5. Glee The Music Season 2 8

4. Glee The Christmas Album 3

3. Jackie Evancho O Holy Night 5

2. Taylor Swift Speak 2

1. Susan Boyle The Gift 1

Next Week: Can Michael take #1?
