The guessing is over, the speculation is over, hell you can even buy tickets to ROTR now. The only thing to do now while counting down the days till May 20, is trying to figure out what day each band plays (never understood why ROTR waits to break up the lineup). So I, like many waiting ROTR fans, began running through band websites trying to figure out who was playing when. While doing this I ran across an interesting tidbit involving Evanescence.
If you got to Sick Puppies website (here) and click on View More at the bottom of their tour page, you'll see they are slated to play ROTR on Saturday May 21. In the Headline column you will see that they're listed to be playing that day with "Avenged Sevenfold, Evanescence, Alter Bridge, Hinder, Saving Abel, Finger 11". Interesting eh. Indeed Avenged Sevenfold, Alter Bridge, Hinder, Saving Abel, and Finger 11 are all scheduled to play Saturday, but as you probably know Evanescence is not currently listed to be at ROTR this year. Evanescence was at the original ROTR in 2007 promoting their second album, but the band really hasn't done anything since (supposedly working on a third album). On their website they have no real news posted or concert dates listed, so that's not help.
So was this merely a mistake on Sick Puppies website (very possible) or are Evanescence going to be added to the ROTR lineup? (Let's hope not.)

not sorry to burst your bubble then that Evanescence was indeed added to the lineup for Rock on the Range. Glad they are back, sucks to be you if you arent.
