So.....Ziggey Marley, the eldest son of legendary musician Bob Marley, is an interesting guy. He's a little more mellow in his music than his brothers, and always seems to be dabbling in different projects; last year he released a children's album featuring Willie Nelson. I'm a casual fan of Ziggey's music, enjoying his 2006 solo album Love is My Religon and his collaboration with the Cheiftans, but was no doubt very surprised to hear he had gotten into the comic book industry. Yep, Ziggey Marely is releasing a new 48-page comic book staring Ziggey Marely as Marijuannaman. Yep this is not a joke, and the comic is coming out on 4/20/2010. A superhero who is powered or at least endorses Marijuana, guess it makes sense that he would be modeled after a Marley.
