ROTR: Five Finger Death Punch and Theory of A Deadman

Which one you think is the middle finger?



Well the ROTR lineup is steadily approaching, though we still don't know for sure what date the lineup will be announced, and until then all we can do is look around the metal and hard rock community and make guess based on bands' spring/summer tour dates. Five Finger Death Punch announced a 15 date trek today with openers Soulfly, Windowpane, and Persist. FFDP is heavily rumored to be returning to Columbus this year (they're last appearing in 2010) and this tour does nothing to dispel those rumors. Missing the Midwest and ending only a few weeks before ROTR, FFDP could very well be back at Crew Stadium.

Having played in 2008 and 2010, Theory of A Deadman have a history of playing ROTR leaving them a smart guess for this year's festival. The band announced a new tour today with Pop Evil and Stellar Revival that hits the Midwest but noticeably avoids Ohio. Ending a week before the Columbus Festival in nearby Illinois, Theory of A Deadman's streak of appearing at every other ROTR looks to continue.
