Join The Teapot Party

Did you hear the news, Friday Nov. 26, more commonly know as Black Friday, while most Americans were out feeding the economy with their hard earned cash, American music legend Willie Nelson was getting his mug shot taken. Yep, some Texas border patrol assholes decided Willie's tour bus looked suspicious, pulled them over, and claimed to smell some weed outside the door. Searching the bus, sure enough, they found 6 ounces of Mary Jane on board. Big surprise, Willie Nelson, one of the most famous pot smokers in America, had weed on his bus. Be careful if you're down in Texas. Snoop Dogg. 100 miles away from the border, I guess the border patrol didn't see any illegals so they decided to harass some citizens and fellow Texans.

Willie and two members of his crew were hauled in and forced to pay $2, 500 to gain their freedom. Anything over 4 ounces is considered a felony charge in Texas (WTF), and Nelson would face a minimum sentence of 180 days in jail and a maximum sentence of two years plus a $10,000 fine. Holy shit, all this for having a little weed. Man I used to be very against weed and pot heads, but if you do the research you know it's fucking insane that alcohol is legal and weed is not. Why are we harassing citizens, wasting government time, money, and resources to fill our jails with people who are not criminals.


Never one to take things seating down, Willie has started a new movement to end the federal ban on marijuana. Forget the Tea Party, join the Teapot Party. On the groups new facebook, Willie posted the following:

Let’s start a new party

There is the tea party

How about the teapot party?

Our motto: We lean a little to the left

Tax it, regulate it, legalize it

And stop the border wars over drugs

Why should the drug lords make all the money?

And thousands of lives will be saved
