Lots of bands have put on their own festival, Ozzy, Linkin Park, Korn, and this year Pearl Jam is following suite. To celebrate their 20th anniversary (five more years and you can get into the hall of shame), the Seattle rockers are planning to hold their own weekend festival this summer. Awesome right, well it gets better. The band says their looking at putting on the event somewhere in the middle of the country (fuck ya Midwest!), and that each band members themselves will help decided the lineup.

Fucking sweet, let's have the party at East Troy, Wisconsin. It's the perfect location. Also, I'm strongly predicting Sound Garden will be there. They're friends with the band, also from Seattle, also grunge, and Pearl Jam's drummer Matt Cameron is also Soundgarden's drummer. I can't wait.
