Decoded: A Musical Journey with Jay-Z Part 2

In Part 2, Jay-Z moves beyond childhood inspiration and talks about his earliest years in the game. I'm all ears.

Jay gives a lot of praise for Big Daddy Kane, and talks about first going on tour with him and learning a lot from watching him perform.

Lol, loving the hair Kane. Funny how he talks about being the best and the toughest rapper but he doesn't say it with all the aggression you hear on most modern rap tunes.

Here's Jay with Kane and a bunch of other rappers.

Here's a track off Jay's first album

Songs about mentoring up and coming rappers, people you recruit like how he was recruited by Kane.

Here's the tracks sequel off Jay's 3rd album and also features Memphis Bleek, a dude I've never heard of.

Might be better than the original.

Also off Jay's first album this song also deals with competition and friendship.

Best Jay-Z song in my opinion and one of the best rap songs ever.
