10. Nickelback Here and Now
Week 9 for the Canadian rockers and they're still holding strong. So far the band has four tracks out as singles to their new album, we'll have to see if they can double that and reach the eight singles they had off of Dark Horse.
Better than their last ballad.
9. Coldplay Mylo Xyloto
This week the Academy Awards annouced the nominees for Best Original Song, and strangely only two songs were selected. Here's hoping Bret from Flight of the Conchords gets the gold for his work with the Muppets.
8. Toby Keith Clancy's Tavern
Rising from #22 last week, Toby Keith returns to the Top Ten in his 13th week on the charts. In other news, only 3 debut albums made the Top 25 this week...sigh...here's Attack Attack!with the lead single off their third studio album.
Eh, I guess it's alright.
7. James Fortune and FIYA Identity
Well at least Christians appear to be buying albums these days, seems like every week there's a new gospel singer, worship band, or Christian rock band sneaking into the Top 10. This week we have James Fortune (supposedly a former hobo) with his third album. I can't wait.
Hahahah, I needed a good laugh.
6. Young Jeezy TM103: Hustlerz Ambition
Week 5 for Mr. Jeezy, but we don't care. Here's a song off Ani DiFranco's new album, her 17th stuido album, and it features the legendary Pete Seeger.
Awesome song.
5. Rihanna Talk That Talk
9 weeks in the Top 10 for Rihanna, here's the new Red Hot Chili Peppers video.
I need a new customized room.
4. Drake Take Care
Way down at #19, Florcen and the Machine is still hangin to the Top 25. If you don't have the album go buy it, its fantastic. Here's a new video off of it.
Fine, here's some Drake too.
3. The Black Keys El Camino
Looks like the Black Keys's El Camino has stalled at #3, its been there for the past three weeks. The Ohio duo has a big North American tour looming and these lads will be the openers.
They put on a good show.
2. Kidz Bop 21
Jesus Christ, who the fuck buys this shit? Why on Earth would you want to hear little fucking kids ruin hit songs? I don't get it, 21 fucking albums in this series. Guess I better give the kids something on here....hmm...how about Wilco with Popeye? Ya that sounds good.
Good stuff.
1. Adele 21
#1 for 17 weeks, the only thing standing in Adele's way for achieving the most weeks at #1 in the Soundwave era is Whitney Houston's Bodyguard Soundtrack at 20 weeks. I for one hope she gets it, and her new #1 single should help matters.
Burn Whitney down Adele, burn here down.
